Greetings Orange County,

That's an easy one - I'd definitely stay at the Hotel Diamond downtown.

It's historic (dating back to 1904), it's been completely renovated (in 2005), and the rooms - although a bit small as befits an elderly lady like the Diamond - are beautifully appointed and they have all the modern amenities.

Plus it's not that expensive, ranging from $119 during the week and up.

Thanks for giving me a chance to share some insider information about Chico!
